Janney Montgomery Lures $200 Million Advisor

Philadelphia-based Janney Montgomery Scott has brought in Christopher Willett - a producer with over $200 million in client assets - as executive vice president of investments in its Atlanta, GA, branch. Willett joined Janney from Morgan Keegan, where he was a managing director for the last six years. Overall he has been in the industry for over over 30 years, Janney said, and brings with him a team of account executives - Patricia Fleury, Steve Edwards and Geoffrey Deller. They join the office managed by Jeff Paulsen. Willett is also a member of the Asset Management Association, Better Business Bureau and Chamber of Commerce. So far this year Janney has appointed 22 financial advisors, including five since the end of June. At the end of May it took on Thomas Graham as senior vice president of wealth management within the Washington, DC, branch. Graham brought with him $150 million in client assets, and was the fifteenth advisor to join this year. Janney Montgomery Scott is an independently-operated subsidiary of The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company and a New York Stock Exchange member firm.
